The Lady Luck Festival was formed in 2009, created to showcase customs and culture from the fabulous 1950's. The event covers the night of Friday 18th January and Saturday all day and evening.

Join us for dinner in Katoomba on Friday evening. There is free admission to bands, market day, hot rod and vintage car show, swing dancing, and much more on Saturday. Many beautiful cars will be a highlight of the day, and will line the main street of Katoomba, which will be closed to traffic. A small entry fee ($5) is payable to enter your classic car for the ‘show and shine’ judging. Please fill out the Entry Form at the Lady Luck Festival website above, to enter your car in the Competition, or to simply have your car displayed on Saturday. A great opportunity to promote our Packards in an ‘up close’ public display.
There will be several bands playing all kinds of music including 50’s and jazz during the day and also evenings, and Katoomba’s fine old heritage café’s and restaurants will provide the opportunity to dine well with your fellow Packardians.
For accommodation, six rooms have been reserved for two nights, at the 4-star Katoomba Town Centre Motel, which is located a few minutes’ walk from the town centre. It has received a “Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor. Tariff is $173 a night. For details see
