LONG WEEKEND 6TH TO 8TH MARCH - SILO ART TRAIL

Victorian Event Details

NOTE:  Accommodation is limited in Benalla so if not already booked in you will need to do so very quickly. We already have quite a number of rooms taken up by members planning to be part of the weekend.

Saturday 6th  -  journey to Benalla to arrive by lunchtime.  Clynton will inform all participants a few days before the weekend where to meet.  We are having lunch at a local eatery once the bulk of the participants arrive. After lunch we will move on to view the extensive street art around the town and the gardens bordering the lake. We will also have plenty of time to catch up with old friends and make new ones. Dinner is at a local bistro and overnight at Benalla.

Sunday 7th  -  after breakfast  we travel about 60 km to our first point, Tungamah, on the silo art trail. We have morning tea in the park while there (you need to bring your own hot water thermos  and eats for this break). From Tungamah we travel 13 km to St James  and then 7 km on to Devenish.  We will have a roast dinner at the Devenish Hotel. After lunch we continue 13km to Goorambat and thence 19km back to Benalla for our evening meal. Overnight again in Benalla.

NOTE:  all roads we will travel on are sealed and in good condition for taking your Packard.

Total distance for the day is 112 km but done in easy stages.

Monday 9th  -  After breakfast, meander home.
