Once again we are joining with the Studebaker Car Club to share in their weekend at Geelong. As we have experienced in previous years, the Studebaker Club members host a fantastic weekend with a variety of activities focused on both cars and socialising.
This year the central part of our outing is to join in on the Saturday when the Studebaker Club holds its concours day.
For anyone who would like to join in for the whole weekend (25th to 27th October), the Studebaker Club members are staying at the Riverglen Holiday Park, 75 Barrabool Road, Belmont, 3216, phone (03) 5243 5505, website www.riverglenhp.com.au; if you want to stay there then book as soon as possible as places are filling fast.
Details of the planned weekend are:
Friday Night: BBQ dinner put on by the car club at the Riverglen holiday park.
Saturday: Concours at Eastern Beach Reserve and also a ladies’ bus trip to the Geelong Mill Market, followed by lunch at a local winery.
Sunday Morning: Breakfast put on by the Car Club at Riverglen Holiday Park, followed by a run to the Geelong Museum of Motoring & Industry. Lunch at the Railway Hotel in Bannockburn.
